Buying a better computerGood luck! Now heres the thing about that, I poured Fourteen hundred dollars into my PC so there is no way in hell I'm going to buy a new one. However I did plenty of Digging and may have found a Resolution but I dunno if it works yet, However. I've been told getting more memory for your PC Incredibly increases FPS and Completely negate the effects of this Stutter Freeze issue. However I have ordered such an object to get to increase said memory, and it should be here sometime this week. Other than that, I'll be waiting for it, however I did manage to get around this problem as a temporary solution not a fully good solution but, I did lower many of the graphics to the lowest of the low and it works okay for quite a bit longer than before.
However I also have been experiencing a recent endeavor which has made me unable to play mordhau completely if you know what I should do please visit this thread!:: as I dunno what could be wrong with the game now. However for those awaiting I've been informed that the item for improved memory arrives on Tuesday and if it actually does fix this then I will get back to ya'll. I have 16gb of ram (slower DDR3) and a shit-tier video card, gtx 1050 Ti. I get lots of FPS fluctuations and drops in performance during combat, but not like what you showed in that video. Like, my FPS stays at 50 until someone is swinging at me, then I'm constantly bouncing between 40-50.There's a dude on reddit I'm trying to help who says none of the game modes work for him as they cause crashes, but for some reason he can play one match of Frontline and then on the second match he gets packet loss and crashes. He has 8gb of ram in his rig.So while I think there's a possibility that increasing your ram from 16 to 32 will help, I'm not sure it is the culprit by itself.
But yeah, give us an update when you upgrade.I've got money saved for an RTX 2080 and am just trying to make sure all my finances are in order and that it's ok for me to buy a video card and new PSU. Once I get the RTX 2080 and the 750w PSU, I'll see how my performance looks.
