I had the same issue where my T460s fingerprinter reader/windows hello disabled after an update late last year. I hadn't bothered to fix it until now, but I have tried all the solutions (enabled both from bios and in windows, device manager - doesnt even have biometrics listed, uninstall and reinstall drivers. I finally got Windows Hello working after the most recent Windows 10 update but it still says face and fingerprint reader not available on this device.I have tried everything, and when I went to try the last thing - go into bios and delete all fingerprint history - it tells me I dont even have a fingerprint reader attached. I opened it up and I can't see anything wrong with the connections. Am I missing something?

I feel like Ive been spinning my circles on this for 2 days now and nothing is working. I would really love to avoid doing a factory reset to this thing.Help please!
